The Daggett Farm Greenhouse offers programs that allow individuals with disabilities to benefit from horticultural therapy and activities, and to demonstrate their abilities by helping to provide the community with quality gardening services and products. Master Gardeners who volunteer at Daggett get involved with the planting of plugs and seeds, starting as early as February. Therapeutic gardens and disability-friendly gardens are also planted by Master Gardeners each spring. Lots of activities are available for volunteers, including working directly with the Horticultural Therapy program.
Take 95 North to the first Route 1 exit (the one for Home Depot). Bear right off exit, go through several traffic lights (about four or five). Just before the fire station, take left into Slater Park. Bear left at first fork. Daggett Farm and Greenhouse is on your right
