The University of Rhode Island Master Gardeners Association and the
URI Outreach Center are pleased to bring you Food, Flowers & Family, a special day designed for those who want to learn more about home gardening for a bountiful and beautiful harvest. The symposium is open to all and will be especially helpful to first-time gardeners, as well as volunteers at community gardens and educators working with gardeners of all ages.
Join us for a day filled with speakers and workshops that are sure to enrich your appreciation for the positive effects of gardening:

The symposium fee is $55 with early registration until February 15. After February 15, the fee is $65. The cost of the conference includes a continental breakfast, lunch and an afternoon snack. Registration closes February 25. Pre-registration is required and seating is limited.

'Food, Flowers & Family' will take place at URI's CBLS building where rooftop and rain gardens are two of the many features that earned the building its Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Gold certification. Detailed directions to CBLS will be provided during registration.
